Working at Haven Life comes with some perks that you might expect to see at many startups. Cold brew coffee on tap, a seemingly endless array of snacks, and a Pac-Man table in the lounge.
But how many startups completely transform into a full-service gym for the day?
That’s what happened one beautiful day in August. Why? Aaptiv recently was added to Haven Life Plus, a suite of no-cost services that both our customers and employees can enjoy.
We love Aaptiv because they make exercising and prioritizing wellness a lot less hard (and really fun.) We welcomed some of their star trainers to the office to hang out – and work out – with our team for Haven Life Wellness Day. And of course, most of us wore Haven Life blue shirts and adorned yellow sweatbands and water bottles to celebrate the occasion.
Aaptiv’s Ackeem Emmons unleashed his Full Body Fury on us. (Congrats to Di for beating Ackeem at his own game during the plank challenge!) Jade Alexis centered us with her yoga and meditation sessions. Angela Leigh gave us some surprising and useful tips on nutrition. And John Thornhill led a squad of us on a run around Madison Square Park, which is next to our Manhattan headquarters.
